Cheadle Hulme North Candidate
I’m delighted to have been selected to be your Labour candidate in next year’s local elections in Cheadle Hulme North.
I have a background in the public sector, and as the mother of three young children I know how important our local services are. I value the work that your Labour councillor David Meller and his Labour colleagues on Stockport Council are doing to protect these services despite government cuts.
Protecting public services and standing up for the vulnerable are my priorities. I’ve campaigned against cuts in funding for schools, and against the Tories’ Brexit plan. I’ve taken action to counter the effects of Lib Dem-enabled austerity by running the Red Box Project locally – ensuring no girl misses school because of period poverty; and supporting local food banks.
I know that many people in our area share my values of equality and fairness, and will support me and David as we work on your behalf. Please get in touch if you have any questions or any issues that I can help with.
